To keep up with the changing face of media, The Toronto Star—Canada’s largest daily newspaper—launched Toronto Star Touch, an tablet app designed to enhance user experience for readers. Toronto Star Touch won several awards and featured interactive elements such as pop-ups, anchored scrolls, buttons, web links, photo galleries, and videos.
While working in the newsroom, I collaborated with editors, producers, and art directors to complete screens within tight daily deadlines. As a digital designer, I conceptualized artwork and incorporated interactive elements while working within Toronto Star Touch’s style guidelines. I worked in various sections such as World, National, Business, Sports, City, and Breathe.
